new toyota pickup sound system thread

my other thread wouldnt let people post, so i need anyone who has a sound system in a toyota pickup to post pics. does anyone have a 15 inch sub in there pickup xtra cab? i need to know if this will fit in my truck. I also need to know where i can mount some speakers, besides behind the plastic under the xtra cab, and i already have some tweeters under the dash.

i have 2 12's (1300w xplod's) behind my seats in seperate slim boxes..and a kicker kx350.4 amp..(its made for speakers like 6.5's and 6x9's..not subs.but it sounds amazing) and i have jensen 6.5's in the door panels and just layin in the back..also have a jensen head unit.

i believe a 15 (unless its a crappy one) will be too much for your little truck..it could possible bust out your back glass..my back glass already flexes about .5"..but i dont have the sliding window..so if you do you will probably be fine

with the trucks being sooo small on the inside..it doesnt take much to sound great! on the inside mine sounds like i have 2000 watts of power runnin to it mounted in a suburban..its verrry niiice..lol

my single cab had a jack stand behind driver side so i ripped it out welded a piece of steel over it and my boxes fit great i made some L shaped holders and drilled into my back wall and siliconed around it so water wouldnt get in and my speakers also give me back support in my truck, i have different seats than the originol bench seat inthe single cabs. ill post pics tomorrow

I have a Bazooka Nos8 8" sub powered by a 375Watt jvc amp,2 Pioneer 6x9 speakers powered by another 375 watt jvc amp and 2 vr 4" replacement speakers in the dash(just to fill a gap)Jvc head unit... All are 4 ohms... It for only pumping maybe 1000 watts max and it competes with my dads 6000 watt system in his truck. It sounds good and is way more capable of what its rated for.
