power steering vacuum lines help
im getting everything back in order after a hg replacement. but i cant figure out where the two vacuum lines coming from the idle control valve on the power steering pump go to...
help??? any pics that clearly show where they are supposed to hook up would be appreciated
ps..i did take pics while deconstructing...but my picture of the vacuum lines on the manifold dont really show me where these two lines go

here, maybe this will help
although FAR from stock, the PS vacuum lines are in the "original" position. I put "original" in quotes ONLY because I have replaced the idle up valve which is where one of the lines are suppose to go, and the new valve wasn't designed for power steering. When I did that, I had to tap into the line with a T fitting as you see. But the other line leads right to the upper manifold.
keep in mind, it really doesn't matter which one of the two lines you hook where; you can mix those two lines up, and it'll still work the same

well thank you for all the pics!
...but it doesnt really help getting 22re pics when im working on a 3.0
i wouldnt be having such a problem with it, but the only vacuum connections i have left are a tad big for these vacuum lines to fit onto. so im wondering if i have all the connections right

IDk about the 22re ps pumps, but on the 3vze it DOES matter that you hook those up right. It will work if they are reversed, but will cause excess wear on the pump, and likely cause problems down the road. the most common problem I have run ninto with this, is the tvv(I think thats what its called) on the ps pump will go bad.

You can remove them completely & block off the vacuum point. It serves no useful purpose other than to idle up the engine a couple hundred RPMs when you hit the limit of the steering....I removed mine 3 years ago.
