not QUITE the same thing, but i made a 2nd gen 4runner brush guard fit with my first gen 4runner. on mine, the bottom 2 mount points, which hold the majority of the weight, bolted right in to my frame with no problem. but the top 2 mount points bolted somewhere on the bumper of a 2nd gen, but it's a few inches lower and several inches out (forward) than the mount holes on my first gen. all i did was drill holes in line into my bumper, and then used a long bolt to go through the new hole in the bumper, and put lock washers and nuts on each side of my bumper and another set on the back side of the brush guard to hold it in place. it's worked great for about 5 years, i even slid into a telephone pole a few winters ago. held up surprisingly fine. so i would say, go look at it, and if the main mount points will line up, i'm sure you can figure something out to jerry rig the other points if they don't line up.

oh anything's possible man, if you got some metal working tools and skills, but don't count on it being a direct bolt-on

one afternoon I sat and watched a few buddies of mine take a similar stlye brush gaurd off a Jeep Cherokee and install it on an old raggidy looking Dodge Neon... you wunna talk about funny looking, lmao... and then that car saw more air than a skate board at the X-games

I would like to learn how to weld but have never tried it so I would have to have someone modify it for me.
