I swear, people just cannot drive!!!

So I'm on my way to work this morning at about 7:15 AM, and about 2 miles from my house, doing the speed limit @ 50mph, both my headlights AND fog lights on, some STUPID woman in a Daewoo pulls right out in front of me (from the left side, crosses through the other direction of traffic right into the side I was on without even slowing down) and I clipped the left rear corner of her bumper right the right front of my truck... I'm lucky is was a 2 lane road and I was in the left lane... Had I have been in the right lane where she actually pulled into, I would have SLAMMED right into her passenger door, and it would have been a lot more damage.

I got away with just a dented in lower valance and some paint trading. Kinda irritates me though, since I just spend all the time to hammer that lower valance straight, and sand and paint the darn thing...

Oh and apparently my brakes work REALLY well, because all four tires locked up and she kicked to the right a little, lmao. Also, you can't hear my retrofitted Ford Expedition horns over 4 skidding tires, lmao.

Also, why is it that every time your in an accident and it's the other person's fault, they have to say "I didn't even see you!"... I HOPE NOT!!! WTH IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!?!?!

lmao

alright, that's my story for the day

start riding a motorcycle, then you can REALLY see how stupid people are when they're driving.

dude we didn't even bother about reporting it... it's not that bad, I can pop the valanve back out if I feel the itch to... probably wont feel that itch though, lol

and the only thing it did to her car was rub some of my black paint on it

we shook hands and went on out way; no big deal. it wouldn't have been worth the trouble or time to go through all the mess...

Close call....glad you are OK and it was relatively minor.

Are you still selling that soon?

I haven't been around much lately, but I thought you were maybe selling that last week. Glad you didn't damage more than that.

ya know, about the selling thing...

lmao

honestly, I'm not sure anymore...

I mean, it's still on the market, but I'm slowly fixing the little things it had wrong with it (new O2 sensor, and now my MPG has SKYROCKETTED , and fixed the alignment), and now it's doing pretty good... so I dunno anymore... I'm getting a GOOD next paycheck (like, 15 hours overtime on it ), and the credit card's about paid off, and after this I got to thinking about some tube bumpers and stuff... so we'll see... I might end up hanging on for it a little bit longer and dumping some MORE money into her, lol

Glad to hear you may be keeping it.
Let me offer you some advice, young man (no I'm not THAT old).........

is the truck paid off?..........I assume yes

how much does it cost to insure (before today)?

HOW IN THE HELL MUCH WOULD A NEW CAMARO COST PER MONTH IN A PAYMENT AND TO INSURE??????????????????????????????????????????

Buy a G-D Scion TC or something sporty and reliable and keep the damn truck.

For Cripe's sakes, knock it off!!!!!!!!

You're killing us!!!!!!!!

There.

I'm done.

You are welcome.

How about the new Nissan GT-R. Makes the 370Z look like a gocart.

id just go jdm.. for a little cash in canada you can get SWEET skylines and land cruisers and hiluxes.. i dont need new cars..

and im kicking my self EVERY DAY for getting rid of the blue 22re4runner i had think worked amazing not a thing wrong... gave it away for 1500 cuz thats all i could get..

now im spending lots of time and money to build a samurai.. when i could have just put my 250 dollar toyota axles in the 4runner with a hysteer for the same price...

dont let your truck go for anything less then you truly think its worth!.
a good 22re truck is still worth alot
