I'm looking at ordering a set of Cragar Soft 8s. and I don't know which rims I should order. I know they're gonna have 4" BS, but I don't know which width is better, 8" or 10"?

 

8" is fine.

I'd definately stick with 8", I have 33x12.50s on 10" rims and they can be a pain to seat. I can't imagine seating 11.50s, i'm sure its possible by someone more skilled than me but what a pain.

10" rims on anything 12.5 and under look so ugly imo

 

I'm not saying its not possible or allowable, just saying its a pain to seat the tire. Especially if you ever have to do it on the trail. I have the luxury of a tire seating machine with 130 psi air and my 12.50s are a pain to seat. Just trying to point out an advantage of the narrower rim.

 

i have 32 1150's on 10's and there not that hard to seat. go for the 10's wide tires look better than skinnys
