Introducing my 3GT4SCLT

After years of deliberation, parts hording, and cash spending...I finally have an LT front end! Engage has created a really solid kit at a very reasonable price of 1900. The 4x axles are another 1K which Ill be getting soon to retain 4x.

I bought used king shocks from various people and had engage rebuild them which saved me 300 bucks times 4 shocks.

Finally installed my tundra brakes and new rubber I had sitting. found the glass used on race-dezert bot a year ago for really cheap....ended up being Engages old glass..funny! May upgrade to the fiberwerx tacoma one piece later on.

the sliders are made by mossyrocks...need a front bumper(DMZ), and rear tube with hitch like demello makes.

Most likely going to regear to 456 now that I am running 285.75.16 with suspension weight..noticed loss of pwr.

Need to dial in the tuning of my s/c now that I have DT headers...

Still a project...

Very nice, how much down travel are u getting with that limiting strap. It looks really short for some reason might just be the picture.

thanks yal!....15 inches of travel once the 4x axles are in....its 15.5 now.

Sliders made by mossyrocks from TTORA(as you already know crolison). THe corner lights dont fit too well so I need to sand them down then get rid of all the chrome on my truck.

Pretty fun to drive as is, doesnt wonder as I had anticipated...need to get 456 gears asap tho.

Put in 3 new belts today...pretty easy.

Not that it doesn't look good, but I think the tacoma one-piece will look better. Nice looking rig though.

The suspension work looks great, honestly I think the current front end looks horrible, but like you said, work in progress

I like the front glass, but it'll too aggressive unless you add some glass to the back. What suspension setup are you running in the rear?

i like the front end but it will only look better once it all matches up front and rear.

OME rear

Finally ordered OME 890/N86C for rear. This will hold me over until I have time/$ to do

either,

or http://ttora.com/forum/showthread.ph...pension&page=2

w/ http://www.lightracing.com/v1b/lightracing25742.html

Not overly concerned with regearing, in retrospect.

Also received 05+ tacoma headlights I needed so I can install my new tacoma conversion front clip.

Next week im pressing in new bearings/seals into rear axles. $60 per side at machine shop which toy dealer uses.

Sounds like you've got your work cut out.

If you got the s/c dialed in, it should have no problem pushing those 285's without a re-gear.
