3.0L bogs down then normal

So recently my 4runner been actin up,yes i know its a 3.0. Every couple days when i drive i will be driving down the street and it will bogg down then go back to where it was like nothing was wrong, last night i was at 3000rpm and it went to 1000rpm when i foot was still on the gas and was acting like i wasnt of the gas then it caught back up to 3000rpm,it happened fo a couple sec's.i was thinking since my exhaust broke right after the converter, there no back pressure so its messing somthing up?

Did this start happening about the same time? I'd fix the exhaust and go from there.

Well it's not helping matters, having it stuffed up. you could be losing fuel pressure.

Also check out some of the Vac lines, may have a leak somewhere. Fuel pressure regulator could be acting up???
