would make a hell of a good rig. but junkyards don't sell whole cars.

i hate that. one of my local junk yards has an 86 4runner 22re auto still all one piece, even has aftermarket wheels with 31s, and they have a 2nd gen solid front axle p/u 22re 5speed, with flat bed but still in one piece tires still holding air. they wont sell either one. i wanted to buy the p/u to use the solid axle for my 4runner but oh "we dont sell whole cars"

Naa no motor, no tranny no diff guts, the dash was torn apart, I'm going back for those mud flaps though.. nice looking the rest of the interior was there. Sad to see them like this.. but the good news was I only found 2 runners at two different junkyards.

that they are stable....
and thats weird, out here in southern cali, a friend of mine has bought a whole truck at a junkyard... bought a 66 bronco that was in surprisingly good condition. paid 900 for it. all it needed was a paint job, bondo in a couple of places, the dash redone, seats recovered, and a drivetrain. (motor/tranny). everything else was there. put 2000 into it, turned around and sold it for like 6 grand
