Horn replacement options?

I used dual horns off of a 2000 ford f-150. No real modification needed. I used the old bracket from the horn, then bent the ford horn bracket a little and rotated the horns to fit.
I love it! I use my horn all the time now
all you gotta do is wire in a relay. Cost me all of $5.00 for the horn from pick-a-part.
Here is how the horns have to sit to clear. I had to bend the ford bracket a little. You can see where I used the stock toyota horn bracket to hang it all, this way I didn't have to drill new holes for mounting.
All mounted, the relay is hidded behind the horns to protect it against the elements.
the ford horns use one power wire and are self grounding. So I had to sand off the coating on the toyota bracket and then just wired in a relay (toyota horns are switched ground with constant power)

Its normal for a domestic truck. Sounds like almost like a car horn mixed with a truck. I havnt double checked that both horns were working so
Im very happy with them.
Its 10000x nicer than stock!
If you look close you can see the horns are really Fiamm's
Most domestic horns are the same design and overall shape so you can litterally use whatever you wanted..
I used the 2000 ford parts because I found the truck at pick-a-part, only thing gone was the wheels. Looked mint, motor mustve been bad...
So I wanted to be the first to rape parts from it

Ya i did the same thing with just one side of the horns. Took one off a 98 explorer and bent the bracket drilled the hole a little bit bigger and hooked it right up. Sounds way better then stock. Thats not saying much though...
