Bump stop removal

Bump stop removal
How do you get these things off. I can only figure, that pipe wrench or big channel locks is needed.
When replacing them, should you use Blue locktite???
these are the front bump stops. wanted to replace them with the new ones that came in the sway bar bushing kit from wheeler offroad
