!st Gen Center Console - Will it fit?

I've found a 3-tier center console from a '90 4runner for sale on ebay. It looks like a perfect match to my beat up unit in my '88 SR5. The bolt pattern looks close but without being able to measure the spacing it's hard to be sure. Does anyone know if all the consoles are pretty much identical for the first 10 years or so?

Thanks for the info. Also, I'm loving the 1UZ transplant!

Sweet! cupholders! Watch out for the JC Whitney website, it will suck you in and won't let you out. That console looks a little wide, did you remove the bolster lever? What did you do with your rear window switches?

i dont think i have a rear heater. at least when i ripped out the whole interior i didnt see one.

the seats still function like stock but i moved the seatbelts to the rear seat bolt. i removed the dome light switch since it didnt work and put the up/down switch in its place and the other 2 switches are under the driver seat waiting for me to gather some motivation to put them in somewhere. lol. whats the bolster lever?
