2000 tacoma rim fit on 1986 pickup?

Both rims are 6 bolt style, but not sure about the offset or ?

Rims are from 2000 Tacoma 4x4 Aluminum (16")
To be put on a 1986 Reg cab 4x4 (15")

Do you think this will work?

I have 2006 Tundra rims on a 1994 pickup. No problems.

They should fit - just check backspacing - I have those same rims on my 89 4Runner:

I have manual locking hubs on the front. How does this rim look around the hub, because I have the chrome cover around the hub. Yours seems to have the standard black plastic.
Not sure if the shape is different.

Hope that made somesort of sense

Thanks

I forgot to mention that these rims are 15" not 16" but they are the same.

I have manual hubs now too. I had to cut out the center part of the cover.

These were taken before I put on 1" wheel spacers and installed the manual hubs. But the auto hubs stick out the same as the manuals:

With the 1" spacers, the hub dial is now practically flush with the hole I cut in the center. I don't have any good newer pics but I can take some when I get home if you would like.
