Exclamation 1990 22re does not like to idle sometimes???

I have i 90 pickup with a 22re with 156,000 miles on it. It is very well taken care of. When I let it idle most of the time it is ok no problems at all. But a few months ago at idle i would drastically drop in rpm and barley keep going and then it would start to idle just fine again. Well it has slowly gotten worse and now it does it alot. Today for the first time it actually stalled out during idle. Im pretty sure it does not have to do with the ignition at all because a few days ago i installed new cap rotor plugs and wires. The truck now runs better but i still have the same problem. I have no clue where to go from here. I think it may be something with the fuel system but im still stumped. Please help me. Thanks.

Pull the intake and look at the butterfly valve in the TB, open it and look behind. Do you see lots of gunky buildup? Take a toothbrush, a bunch of shop towels and some good throttle body cleaner. And clean everything out around the TB. This is the best thing you can do without removing the TB and cleaning everything.

Everything is all clean. Im thinkin it might be something with the fuel supply. Does it sound like the fuel pump could do it? I still have the factory one in the truck.

If you can check the fuel pressure at the injectors that would be ideal.

Have you checked the TPS and AFM?
