I came across some 18" rims wrapped in 33" rubber for cheap. The work trucks has this size of tire and have a tendency to burn only two tires at once (i wonder...) so I'll have a supply of decent pairs of tires every year basically.
The rims and tires are from an 07 Nissan Titan.

I want to see some pics of some trucks and runners running larger than stock rims.

I think the 18s would be fine, I think as soon as you go beyond that though it gets kind of iffy. Just because of the rock rash issue, I think you'd have a lot of grinding/scraping on outer walls of the wheel. It looks pretty cool though. My friend runs 22" rims and 34" Maxxis Buckshots on his Taco and it looks pretty sick.

but if i could get my hands on a NICE set of 18's..like Dick Cepek TORQUE's...and a set of good M/T's with em..i'd snatch em up in a heartbeat...i LOVE the look of 18x10's on yota 4x4's

 

O YEA!..dont forget since they are on a newer truck..without lockout hubs...you'll have to get the center hole's of the wheels drilled out to fit on our hubs..just to let ya know

yep center hole diameter is probably gonna be smaller on the titan...

same bolt pattern rims off my Tahoe won't fit my Toyota due to smaller Late model chevy hole...

i dont' see a problem with 18's and 33's except tire prices will be more, but if you can afford it, why not.. id perfer more rubber wrapping the wheels than less, but thats just me.

I've seen a couple of trucks around town rollin' on 20"s or 22"s with 33" rubber and they look absolutely retarded.

If you've got the money for the rubber I suppose a 17" or 18" rim doesn't look so bad on a fullsize truck, but personally I like the fat tire look on a normal 15" rim.

 

 

I need that on a T-Shirt for a couple people I know.
