if it already has the stock radio you will need a pocket to go under the radio unless it already has one then you dont need nothing stock brackets work just fine

power back window...

so i just got an '86 4x4 and was looking behind the seat and saw there was an electric motor connected to the window. the person who sold it to me didnt say anything about it but it looks like it doesnot work. i tried the switch and the motor moves but the window goes no where. is this hard to replace?

well its a solid bracket. all it is is a tapeplayer with a radio. and a few sliding things that go up and down. can i take the whole thing out to put in the new bracket? they must sell something for it.

The cheapest thing would be to remove body parts and save weight all around. Do you NEED a bed/fenders and hood. Its basically just scrap metal

Anyway, you should probably search the forums. There are tons of things you could do. Good luck!

K&N filter, hotter ignition(i.e. coil, plugs), there are different exhaust headers around and I've been told that is the best way to wake up the 22r but I don't know for sure. you could get a different carb(weber), just try to make sure you can get more air in/out and you'll be on your way
