Differential Capacity?

I am going to tackle this this weekend. I have a 99 4Runner 2wd. Are the rear diff capacities the same on a 2wd and 4wd. I am going to use Amsoil Gear Lube...80W-90 right? Also I am going to get a tranny flush soon...anyone in the Atlanta area had this done, if so any reccomendations on shops to take my vehicle to?

Just check your owner's manual for differential gear oil capacity and weight. I use 75W-90 in mine, but 80W-90 should work just fine. If I remember right, its takes about 2.5 qts, but don't quote me. Just look it up - it will be in your manual.

Make sure to open the fill plug before you drain the fluid. It's no fun at all filling through the breather or other location. Just a reminder if you know this already
