Does anyone know why: Surging and losing power on the V6, it acts up after warming up and driving for 45 minutes. Nothing on the diagnostic fault either. It had sat in a field for 2 years, so have changed the fuel filter, and used STABIL, as well as Octane booster and fuel injector cleaner. I tested the power to the fuel pump-it's good. When I BANG on the fuel tank, it runs better. Any Idears!? Thanks-

Rust in fuel would be my guess.

Take out tank, rinse it our with some gas, and see what comes out if it. if a lot of debri and rust comes out, that would be it
