I know a little about motors, but I know even less about suspention and lifts. I live in the San Diego area. Does anyone know of a good cheap place to get just a basic 2-3" lift done on my 95 4runner 4x4?

do a google search for daystar or cornfed. both brands have cheap lifts up to 3" i think. Although i dont yet know if they have a 2nd gen option, you should still check one of the two out.

There are many spacer lifts out there that are extremely cheap.

 

body lift is the cheapest way to get 3 inch lift.

 

doesnt rancho have some quick lift shock absorbers? that might give u the lift u want

 

Thats for coil sprung ones. His has t-bars.

the quiklift is basically a strut/small coilover. we sell them at kragen. i believe one set was sold, and has been three times in a year.

 

ball joint spacers and coil spacers would be pretty cheap. may ride rough, but cheap. do some searching

 

You might look into rocky-road outfitters. I havn't bought anything from them, but i hear they're pretty good quality...and cheap.

 

I to live in The Worlds Finest City. Decide which kit you want and I'll put it in for you or you can save money and help.

 

Neither of those will cause the suspension to ride any stiffer than the stock suspension setup.

Thanks for all the feed back. I got some OME900 springs and I'm hoping to put those on some time next week. And with my next paycheck I'm planning on getting some 1.5" ball joint spacers. Thanks again.
