I'm looking at replacing the front seats in my 01 runner and after calling around to allot of the local junkyards I've found there are ALLOT more Tacomas in the junkyards than 4runner dunno why.

So with the abudance of Tacos I wanted to know if seats from a Tacoma would bolt in? I saw these on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyot...ayphotohosting

They are from a 03 Taco, they look pretty close to the mounts on my runner seats. But before I waste my time running the junk yard circuit I figured I would ask here.

 

Unfortunately they won't be a direct swap. If I remember correctly, the fronts will workout, but the rear feet will be off and won't bolt up. I installed 4R buckets into a 97 Taco and had to cut the rear feet off, and use a little piece of plate to reweld the feet where they needed to be. This is a common procedure I've done a few times.
