Could use a helping hand, 3.4 swap, Tucson area..
Greetings -
So I just Really took a look at the calendar and school starts too soon...crap!
I had intended to get my 3.4 swap done by now but....
I have a 1992 4Runner that is sitting with a 3.4 installed (all oil pan, sensor, dipstick work done), clutch dealt-with, tach mod done, body lifted, battery relocated, computer and harness ready to be worked-over, and so forth. I still need to do the wiring, mount the airbox, plumb the dual-heater lines, do the power steering lines, hook up AC, mount radiator and hoses, hook up cruise and some vacuum lines, and other smalller things.
I got involved in other things for a while and some of my parts location tags have faded or blown off, and my memory has faded.
Is there someone in the Tucson area who has done the swap that would be willing to lend a hand to bring this thing to life? It would be great even if I could just look at a completed swap to get a better sense of what goes where--and to help inspire me to finish. I don't think there is actually that much work left, time-wise or in difficulty (although clearly it is time to spend a few hours with wiring diagrams). I could pay someone a bit (don't have much) or could swap something, or...?
Any help, encouragement, info appreciated! Thanks; cheers, Joel
