Rotational squeak after brake job?

Rotational squeak after brake job?
Hey all - I recently had my front brake pads replaced, the rotors turned, and my brake fluid flushed at a local shop that has given me good service in the past.
I now have a squeak that occurs on every revolution of the wheels. I can't pinpoint it to left or right side, but I'm pretty sure it's up front. It goes away when I press the brake pedal (even pressing very lightly, not enough to stop, makes the noise go away). The best way I can describe the noise is that it sounds like a cricket chirping. Above 25 miles per hour or so I lose the noise with road/engine noise, but it's very noticeable below 25 miles per hour. The noise speeds up and slows down relative to wheel speed. As I said, there is no noise when I hit the brake pedal.
Took it back to the shop and they can't figure it out, although they say my brakes are fine and the noise is related to the suspension. This sounds like BS to me... I do have some squeaky suspension, but why would this particular squeak go away when I apply the brakes? They lubed some stuff up and ended up losing the center cap on one of my wheels, all while never fixing the squeak. Needless to say I will not be visiting them again.
Any ideas where to look? I'm thinking about taking it to the dealer for diagnosis...

its just a brake squeak. im a mechanic and get cars that do this come back all the time. its usually caused by metallic or semi metallic pads and 99% of the time the fix is just to take the pads out and "chamfer" them
take some sand paper and scuff the pad surfaces lightly then take a file or carefully with a grinder and grind the leading edge of all 4 pads at about a 45 degree angle. dont grind alot of pad but just enought to give you a ramped edge look.
if the pads are like that already then have them warranty them

If you haven't put 500 miles on it yet and it stops fine, relax, it'll probably go away. There are several tricks and even a spray one can use to remedy this and they work only about half of the time. When you have friction its sometimes difficult to avoid a noise.
When you took it back, did they even pull the wheels and take a look?

Guess I will just turn the music up in the meantime. Might try to pull them off this weekend and have a look.

If cutting an angle on the pads did not work. There is a grease that you can apply to the "back" of the pads that will help with this. The squeak could be a vibration between the caliper and the pad.
