Does anybody know to install glow pedals????
Okay so I just got my pedals in a little while ago and they are supposed to glow blue after I hook them up to a 12v source and ground it too, but I have a question, where do I hook it up to without shorting out my battery or messing anything else up????? It looks really easy on the box I just don't know which one is the 12v source need some help please.

Hey Sleepy. Indi pedals? May as well since you're waiting on the gauges...I'm sure you want those pedals to glow only with the lights on, so you'll need to tap into a light source. The one I used for my lighting is the park light wire. Guys here have said the ashtray light is an close/easy tap. Maybe that one is good. The best ground I have found is the metal clip/screw that hold on the driver side kick panel. Remove the panel and you'll see the brass colored 'U' clip. Make sure you zip tie those wires to the pedal arms. Good luck. Oh yeah, disconnect the battery...to be safe.

Yeah, I would say that or even the power source for your gauges. You can take the cluster apart and see what is back there for when you get the gauges, and then tape there, like you will do for the gauges. Let us know how everything turns out! :fireman:

I have these same pedals and I hooked my up with the parking light fuse. The only problem with the ash tray/cigarette lighter hook up is that it is on anytime the car is on. You may or may not want this. Also make sure the pedals fit because my pedals were too small and the brackets did not hold them on and they ended up falling off three times before I took them off because of the safety concern. I haven't had the time to rig something up with the brackets to make sure they stay yet. Just another concern you may want to think about. Good luck

I didn't know my ashtray light was on all the time the car was on......you sure about that? I thought it was only when the rest of my lights were on since I have DRL, like when I turn my parking lights on..... I will go and check on that.

I was mainly referring to the cigarette lighter wire. I have my neons hooked into this and this is definitely on all the time. Pretty sure you know that already. I'm not really sure about the ashtray light either.

a switch is really easy to run. If you want just a regular switch all you have to do is have whatever power wire you're running lead into one feed, and a wire running from your switch to your pedals power wire. If you want a lighted switch then the only differences is that you have to run a ground wire for the switch because it is lighted. If you have any ques. let me know cause I've hooked up plenty of switches in my day.
