Does anyone know how to find out what the diff ratio is without taking it apart and counting the teeth, (and no, I can't trust what my door sticker or vin says)? I saw how to do it on a website, something about counting the # of time the yoke spins or something, but now I cant find that website.

Your doing major engine swaps and you can' t figure out how a basic ratio works? Why can't you trust your door jam? There are numerous sites that can be found with a basic google search that cover the codes. Jack up your truck and rotate the tires 1000 times and count how many times your driveshaft turns....or a 100 times or 10 or 10,000...pretty simple stuff man.

I cant trust my door jam cause according to it, I have 4:10s but when I pulled my diff out (cause I destroyed it) i had 4:30s. So one of the previous owners swaped out the diff. and I was trying to figure out what my front diff was without pulling it apart. Its complicated
