Anyone retrofit an armrest??

I was just wondering if anyone has took another armrest from another vehicle and retrofitted it for our T4r?? Our armrest suck, they have no cushion and are very narrow. The widest you can go is 7", stock is 5", the stock lenght is 11", which is ok and the thickness is only an 1".

Haven't seen anyone do a mod to the 3rd gen arm rest but I am starting a mod to the door panel. Most will remember that the 2nd gen had the red marker light in the door panel and I figured out a way to add those light panels to a 3rd gen door panel, just gotta figre out the wiring. Did a practice door panel and it worked! Might have to look at trying to mod the arm rest now but if anything it would be a mod to add padding.
