My buddy is lookin to buy an 87 pickup with the 22r. He talked to the owner on the phone and he says the truck runs fine, but backfires while running. Said he had the timing checked and it is where its supposed to be. My question is what could be causing this, and is it that big of a deal to fix it. Thanks
