You guys got me thinking about it now.

I'm not really 100% ready with the 22RE runner, but I could probably pull it off.

A lot of us PAvians don't pay to offroad.....there are lots of spots to go in PA that don't have too many knuckle heads, are free, offer challenging terrain, and don't have rules.

I know of one in coal country, that I haven't been to yet.
I'd be interested in any others though...

But are they LEGAL??? I know of a few spots to hit up some trails but none of them are legal (lots of posted signs etc.) I for one dont really like to have run-ins with the law. The fact of the matter is unless you are fortunate enough to own some land or know someone who does there isnt too many options around. At least around harrisburg. Rausch Creek is a great place to go. Its easy to get to. Its not that expensive ($35 for a full day). Its big and has more trails than you could see in a weekend. The trails are marked and difficulty rated so you shouldnt get lost or get yourself into something way over your head. I've been there a few times now and it doesnt seem that the place gets overly crowded either. I know alot of people travel quite some distance to get there so it must be worth it to some. Free wheeling is good too!!

I agree with HAZMAT. If its not legal off roading I am not doing it(not that I never break the law) But there is just too much risk involved in hitting fire roads and Cable trails.
I would love to have some places that are free and legal to wheel. I found some of them in Kentucky where my parents just moved and it was great, But Rausch Creek has LOTS to offer and is always improving Plus Its only 2 hrs away for me.
And this is TOYOTA CRAWLERS takeover. For the first time in my trips to rausch will I see more toyotas the jeeps WOOHOO

That is not positive thinking! The guys on the other Yota sites said there is usually about 50+ Yotas at the event so at least it will be a better mix

I'd like to make it but this year I'm not going to. If all goes well I'll have my runner in better shape and trust her on longer trips. Funding should be better as well. Glad to see more PAer's her though.
