Hi everyone,

I just got a nice 93 4runner but the only thing that is really wrong with it is the heater/ac head unit. I can't get it to do anything. I am not really familiar with these units as every car I have owned has at least had working heat. The blower wont turn on or anything. Is there a fuse some where that would have caused this, I checked both fuse blocks but nothing jumped out at me. Thoughts?

theres a blower motor resistor that is behind the glovebox... do a search on here as i believe that there are a couple writeups on it, but its fairly cheap to replace...

Well I put in a new blower motor resistor with no success. Any other ideas would be great.

 

Check the blower motor itself, it's possible that the control unit is working right and the blower is bad

 

Check the fuses too.

 

This is kind of a newbie question but where are the fuses for the blower. I checked the engine bay and the drivers kick panel and couldnt find the fuse for the blower motor
