ok so im looking at sas kits and i find trail gear to be my best bet because i dont have alot of money. does anyone have any suggestions though? and im wondering if i can get away with my stock gears ans 33"s untill i have money for 5.29's and some 36"s. and for the rear lift is there any leafs i can use rather the 600 dollar rear lift from TG? i saw a guy use 2wd f150 leafs but idk. thanks

yup 2wd F-150 springs work, but with a little modification of course, you have to move your front spring hanger forward like 11" i think, and make rear shackles 7" to match a 4" lift, search for the springs tho, its been a wile since i read the thread on it

I would use 63" chevies with longer shackle and perhaps an add-a-leaf or block.

Putting tires on your rig does not constitute a "build" thread. There is a section for showing off pictures of your rig. When you break out the plasma cutter and welder then you can start a build thread.

I just noticed something

One of the first mods you might want to consider would be a manual locking hub swap hit the search key about it; TONS of info on the forums

ganted those auto's you're running are still better than the ADD's in my opinion, but you have no 4wd in reverse with them

oh and what's going on with that exhaust? I see some fabetry

yeah i want manual hubs, just havent gotten around to it or found any yet, and i have 4wd in reverse, my hubs are fixed so they r just always locked. o and my exhaust fab is part me and part previous owner lol. prev owner chopped exhaust after the cat and put a cherry bomb glass pack on, and just left it hanging. so i liked the sound so i kept it. but then came aircare so i had to make somthing quick so i could get it through. so i made a side exit with a 90 deg elbow and some bend a pipe. worked ok. im planning on redoing my exhaust thought with a header and a proper nice looking side exit.

those are ADD? I could have sworn they were auto... myabe it's just the cover that threw me off, lol

only downfall to those is they east up CV boots

if/when you do the swap, keep the ADD flanges; they make GREAT trail spares if you grenade a hub
