Stay Tuned! Gears, Tires & Lift, oh my!

I've been on a parts binge, collecting quite a few goodies for the pickup. In my garage I have a set of ball joint spacers, Downey IFS truss, HD torsion bars, 4.88 factory front IFS diff, a set of TACO rims with lt235-85-r16 Goodyear Duratracs (will be on tomorrow!) and I just purchased an e-locker rear diff with a yukon 4.88 gearset. Lots of siping on the tires for snow & rain, and mini-tread grooves between the lugs. Load range E, 3-ply sidewalls, 10 ply tread, no mention of a Kevlar sidewall but these seem built like a brick -house!

My thoughts for my super daily-driver are to go with a relatively mild lift, 2-3 inches in the rear, and try to coax some extra travel and a bit of lift out of the IFS by using BJ spacers & relaxing the torsion bars a notch along with swaybar disco's. 4.88's on a tire that is about a 32x8 will be a little short, but I live at high altitude & do pull a trailer from time to time, and my truck has a fiberglass camper with a bunch of recovery gear in the back all the time.

Definitely a great start. How about some transfer case gears?

Use the [img] [/img] code to post pic links, if using a photo site, remove the end of the text where it says size=0 (whatever blah-blah is there) you want just the .img or .jpg part.

As for the truss, round tube's OK if thick wall DOM for DD stuff, best bet's are the Sonoran Steel square stock one if wheeling as it'll integrate w/ a skid pan also.

Man those tires look awesome!!! I'll have to look into those if they do worth a darn off road. Do you mind telling me how much they cost you? If I can get a set of those in 33/10.50/15 for less than the MTR's I'm looking at I might have to rethink my purchase.
