a guy i work with just got some 32x10.50's for his new taco and he said the guys at the tire shop mounted one tire and put it on the front and said they wouldnt fit, and didnt put them on. I dont know exactly where they were rubbing, but im guessing its probably inside the wheel well somewhere.

I wanted to know if anyone knew if this could be solved with a new rim with a different amount of backspacing? anyone else running the same thing? I mean if it was me, i would just get some steelies with less backspacing and go to town with a hacksaw if need be... but then again, i've never owned a brand new truck haha.

I believe they should fit with a stock wheel

 

well the shop is saying they wont. have you seen any threads anywhere or seen any pictures that show they'll fit? maybe i should try that "search engine of all engines"

 

I put 32/10.5s on my stock tacoma with stock wheels and they rubbed ever so slightly at full lock. NTB tried to tell me that they wouldnt fit too. I told them to put them on anyway. They work.

 

When i took my 33X10.5 BFG to get mounted they told me there is no way they would fit on my 4runner. He couldnt believe it when he mounted them and they didnt rub at all. not even close to rubbing.
