Just to let you guys know Uwharrie closes from Dec 15 @ 10pm - April 1 @ 8am

 

alright i guess i had it wrong. I thought it was oct 13 or 15.

 

That December dat may be there official date of closing for the winter. But I'm with Sam on this one. The park ranger that night we first came in told us that they were closing up early this year for some maintence or something like that, I'm not sure, maybe he was wrong. Someone should call and get an offical word on the 4x4 trails being closed, maybe only sections will close in Oct. that would be nice.

that park ranger was a DUMB ASS!!

he told us that you couldnt camp anywhere but campgounds and then the next day told my bro that you could camp anywhere

 

Yeah the rangers do seem dumb as hell, or at least the one we had that night. He kept insisting that we all couldn't fit into two sites, I see nothing wrong with 9 trucks in two sites do you .

 

yeh and he kept coming by and checking my ticket for the camp site. He did it 3 times in the same night! Its not like Im gonna have it the first time and not the other two.

I think im gonna go tip his RV over.
