3rd Gen Pet PeeVe

I am a noobie(and a whiney one) and I love my truck but The only complaint I have about my 99 4R is the soaking I get if I open the window after a rainfall and hit the brakes. The entire collection of roof water flows like a spout into my door switches and on me.
I think this is a design flaw - if they only made the roof channel finish off at the windshield like most cars do.
Any thoughts? I know I'm not the only one.

I second Gadget's recommendation as I have the Weather Tech in channel visors and I never get wet anymore from stuff like you mentioned.

Rob,

Then you can honestly say you will stop being "all wet" as well!

Get the vent visors from weather tech. Well worth the moola!

Don't get the Vent Visor brand, those suck. The tape that is used to attach them can damage the paint and you really can see through them. They blocked so much of my vision that I almost ran over an old man in a cross walk. I pulled off the junk ones along with some of my clear coat and replaced them with the Weather Tech ones. They are so much nicer and you can see through them.

Sell that POS and buy a 4th Gen, thats what I did and for that reason!

Just kidding, that was one of the biggest complaints I had about my 3rd Gen. In fact I think it was the only thing I didn't like about the truck. Hope you get it fixed. The 3rd's are sweet.

By the way, my 4th does a little of the same thing.
