Caliper Pins Seized

I cannot budge the pins and my pads are squeeling like a pig. I spent about an hour the other day trying to pound them out but all they did was mushroom. Its a 97 Taco and I dont know what to do, how am I going to remove them. The calipers are fine as far as I can tell and dont want to replace them, these pins are like welded in there.

unhook the line get a torch and lay some heat into those things thats the only way if you cant get or run a torch take them to a shop and they should do it for peanuts. take my word for it torches make alot of things much easier

I always spray a ton of PB blaster, then yes, like mentioned above torch em!

I've had much better luck buying the MAP gas than the propane. The MAP gas comes in a yellow bottle. (This is of course if you don't have oxy-acetylene torch!)

So whats the worst case senario here if I completely destroy the pins, I really dont want to undo the lines but I guess I could get the caliper off then and drill out the pins.

Don't drill out the pins too much risk of messing up the calipers, if you don't have a torch use a propane torch to heat them up.

Pins are sold everywhere. I mangled a set one time using vise grips to yard to on the head to pull it out. Have you tried that.. latch onto the head really good and start trying to twist as you pull. Once you do get them out put anti-sieze on the new ones so they don't do it again.

Take a dremel, and cut the center (visible) section of the pins out, then take a punch and punch out the remaining pieces of the pins from the inside of the caliper outward.

I take it you mean with the calipers out right. I tried again after PB Basting them and still no luck, I didnt have much time so I was afriad of getting in to deep, but the pins are pretty soft they just keep getting deformed I even took a air chisel to them to try and shake it loose but still nothing.
