Oops I galvanize sprayed my sliders.. can't prime or paint them now?? :O

I received bare metal rock sliders and proceed to lightly sand and clean them.
I then used Rust-oleum brand Cold Galvanizing compound spray to really rust-proof them. The can states "Top coat or recoat after one hour."
Problem: My Rust-oleum brand Automobile Primer spray says "Do not apply to surfaces, that when heated exceed 200F or galvanized metal"
Now my Rust-oleum brand Truck Bed Coating spray (this will be my top coat) does not state anything about temperature or galvanization.
Is the primer talkin about a different kind of galvanization; should I just do the primer?
What do you guys think??

try a test spot on one of the mounting legs and see what it looks like after a few days...
is this rustoleum truck bed coating like Hercaliner or dura liner? If so and if you are planning on using your sliders for their intended use, don't bother it will just peel off on first contact with a tree/rock...

Just hit them with that bedliner paint you got minus the primer as it will not work now and call it good tell you gotta hit them with another coat

there is a product out there called zrc. It is a galvanizing spray or you can apply it with a paintbrush. It is usually around $10 a can but works pretty well. It comes in grey or light grey. You can paint over it afterwards if you need to.
I think we are talking about the same thing.
