'86 22re put it in about three weeks ago, I suspect I'm getting fuel in my oil... again. So, what I'm looking for are some pictures or input on which vaccume/fuel lines might be the cause of this issue, (fuel in oil), The compression is reading about 155 on all four so I don't think rings are the problem.

What are your thoughts?

 

kinda awkward to say the least....but try searching around here on the forum and if nothing turnes up try ur fsm and track down some hoses!!

 

1990 22RE - whereabouts on the body is the fuel pressure regulator?
My son took the fuel line off and I cannot find where it came from!

The fuel line that comes up from the body on the passenger side of the engine, what direction does it take, and where does it go?

The only way I can imagine fuel entering the motor, besides the way it's supposed to, is by somehow getting through a charcoal canister and up into the valve cover. I don't even know if lines are connected that way, probably not.

Usually, the fuel tank will be vented through a charcoal canister. Sometimes, a crankcase breather will also be vented into the charcoal canister, although I think on these trucks they are vented into the airbox.

I don't really know, this is a very odd problem. What makes you think this is happening?
