stock h/u to amp in 4rnr ltd?

So I own a 2001 4runner ltd, and I'm installing twin subs in a custom box, powered by a pioneer premium amp. I know there's a way to connect the stock H/U to the amp, so that it all works and I get to keep the stock look, but I don't know the way. Anyone have any insight for me?

EDIT: The ltd package comes w/ the 6 disc in dash cd changer.

The only way to do it is A. buy the adapter kit and hack into that, or B. hack into the stock wiring.

Factory stereos don't have pre-outs

I figured as much. I'm glad that's confirmed though. Has anybody done this? What's it going to take?
