Front Drive train questions HELP!

Hope all of you are having a great weekend.

I have been attempting to figure out what is causing a high speed vibration for some time and unfortunately I think I found it.

On the passenger side where the drive shaft connects to the differential there is what I believe to be a significant amount of play. It moves in all directions abour a 32nd of an inch. I would think it should be solid.

Is this normal? If not I would think I have some issues and need to rebuild the front diff.

Any thoughts from you folks would be appreciated!

Sounds like a u-joint problem. Since it's a cheap fix, I'd start there. Here's a link to where you can get one. http://trail-gear.com/driveshaft.html

Do a quick search on u joint failure and see what you come up with.
