Floor mats not allowing full throttle use
Does anybody have a problem with their floor mats getting in the way? when i have my stock second gen floor mat in, i cant press down on the gas pedel fully, take it out, and i have more movement.
the guy i bought it from had that floor mat there, and some other rubber floor mat on top of that! needless to say my truck had no get up and go even when i thought i was flooring it

haha.... you should have titled it:
"3.slo fixed by removing floor mats!!"
Wouldn't that be funny if everyone's problems were just the mats and not the engine?
I don't have the .slo problem AND I don't use the mats. Maybe you are onto something!!

yeah i noticed that as well once i got my huskeys, but it really doesn't bother me that much, because it really doesn't restrict it that much.

Have someone press the pedal to the floor (not running :pat: ) and loosen the nuts at the TB. Then back the nuts away while they hold the pedal to the floor, but not mashed. and tightent he 2 nuts to hold the cable housing in that point.. Easy as pie..

So that's your excuse for loosing all the time, huh?
My huskies allow full use of the pedal. I know this because when I push the pedal all the way down, I can make the transmission down shift.

Yep, search for some of my old posts here on the Husky mats.
I had to cut a hole for the gas pedal, and ran into trouble.
Two different times when I nailed it, the go pedal got stuck in the hole I cut, and I almost wrecked the rig twice.
Make sure if you cut a hole in the mat, that you enlarge it so the pedal won't get stuck.
