I own a 96' 4runner w/ 230k miles. I am looking to supercharge my engine, upgrade the fuel system, and add a complete exhauste with headers in the not-so-distant future. I would like to do a rebuild with high performance rebuild and possibly bore out the cylinders a little more.

I am wondering if it is possible to do to do this on the 5VZFE 3.4 liter engine and if anyone has done so. Any parts/companies used would be great.

 

lce engineering has some stuff for the 3.4

also thought of cams too?

 

If anything do a compresson check. If all is good go for it.
