cant get dash back together

cant get dash back together
I was running new RCA's...
I took the dash apart in no time at all...
Can't seem to get it back together. The piece with the clock/radio cover just wont go back in. It was the last part i took out, so logically it should be the first part back in.
tips?

ive taken my dash apart a bunch of times. i cant help you out but i usually have a hissy fit and then everything goes in perfectly. i got the clockéheater control in pretty easy. just get it in there. i know it doesnt sound like good advice but thats like all you have to do
