4crawler hi-lift mount and a bikini top mounting questions

I've been looking at the bikini top that Wabfab sells and like the way it mounts but I'm a little concerned that it won't mount up with the 4crawler hi-lift mount that I have. Do any of you run a bikini top and the hi-lift mount?

Hi-lift mount.

Wabbits top.

Maybe Wabbit can answer this for me.

i have the bikini top but not the high lift mount. the top uses a bolt to go in to the shoulder strap hole on the roll bar and if i remember it right 4crawlers high lift uses a long piece of all thread. seems to me if the all thread was long enough to put 2 nuts on that sandwiched the bikini top bar and had enough left over for the high lift bar and wing nut all would be cool. i'm sure you could get just a longer piece of all thread if need be.

put pics up when you do it so that we can all see what you did!

good luck

Longer piece of all-thread...... dang that's an easy fix and I can't believe I didn't think of that.

How do you like that top? I've been doing some looking and it seems to be the best one for the money so far and I like the extra hoop idea. Does it work worth a darn at keeping rain out?

I copied his hi-lift mount, and made my own bikini top and there is a bit of rub on the bikini top. It's the longer (60") jack, so maybe a 48" would be better. I'm just going to put a pad on the end of the jack to protect the bikini top.

If you go at least 45 mph, it wont rain in the 4runner with a bikini top on. Not to take away from wab, if you have the time, you can fab your own top. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f88/...ni-top-119857/

48" jack will fit, 60" won't as I have both lenghts and a bikini top.

I just used a longer bolt, as seat belt bolts are mandated to be 7/16-20.

i love the top. i used to long pieces of velcro straped together to wrap around the roll bar and the bikini support bar and it doesn't budge running 75mph down the freeway! i recently posted a pic of it in the vendor thread that wab sells the tops on. well worth the money in my opinion.

I made my own mounts for the 60 inch high lift so I could use it with the bikini top.
