Im 17 and i weld as a hobby and as a job. Im building a new front bumper replacement for my 96 T100. I wanted an ARB but dont have the money so i thought id fab my own. I got a piece of 10" C channel and cut and bent it to fit my truck like an ARB. I cut it at angles like the ARB's as well. The mounting brackets are tricky but ive figured them out. I was thinking about cuttin out a triangular piece l;ike the ARBS and doing the wraps the same. What do you think. I was thinking about putting a bought grille guard on the bumper to save time but i culled that idea.

You are well on your way. It sounds like the bumper I was going to build just not enough time .
