A little rust on this t-case...go or no go?

Looking to buy this t-case from a guy, I don't know how much he's thinking of selling it for but I think I would pay up to $100...

Should I not even mess with it because of the rust? I'm going to put 4.7 gears in so all the bearings you can see from the outside will be replaced, I'm just a little worried that it might be rusted on the inside.

No way! I don't know where you're located, but around here I can find ready to run cases for $75 all day long. I wouldn't touch that. Plus, it looks to be out of a 1st gen pickup which means you'll have to either replace the drive shaft flanges or redrill those drive shaft bolt holes to 10mm.
