22RE Header

Not sure if i need this bolt in the middle or not??

When i took the old exh gasket off it was cut in 2 pieces. I put the new gasket on but left it in 1 piece. noticed after that i couldnt put the middle bolt in. Dont think I need it but just making sure..

was only worried if it plugged a coolant hole or something from the stock exhaust?

You don't need it. I don't have it in mine (Downey header).. Good luck!

yeah, I don't think it's needed, but I once thought that I had an exhaust leak from there; oddly enough, I put a bolt in it, and the leak stopped, but came back within a day turns out the cheap paper gasket that came with the header had broken apart into about 20 peices, lol

The center hole is there for othe earlier 22R which used just a center exhaust bolt, instead of two in the middle (one on each side) You do not need it.
