87 Toyota Pickup SR5 4x4

Hello,
I am having some difficulty figuring this one out please help. I am able to start my 1987 Toyota SR5 4x4 with a Carburetor right up when it is cold and it idles fine and runs fine. Then about 10-15 minutes of driving when you go to stop and you push in the clutch it dies. Then it won't start up unless I spray a little bit of starting fluid in the carburetor. Then after it starts I have to turn the idle up or it will do it again. Then if it cools off I can usually start it again and it does the same thing. Also, when I am in like 4th gear and I slow down and then speed up by pushing the gas pedal to the floor it will spudder out like once and then it has the full power. Please help I need some stuff that I can try to do to fix it. Thanks for all your help in advance.
