No high beams - no bright lights

has anyone come across this? my low beams are fine but hit the brights and nada no light, the dash indicator comes on but the lights just go off. put in new bulbs. is it the switch or the relay?

I had the same problem last year. It turned out to be the combination switch that controls the lights, wipers and turn signals. I got mine on Ebay and it was easy to install.

Yep, common problem. Often just dirty or pitted contacts in the dimmer switch:

when you pull back and use the flasher do they turn on?

EDIT: 4crawler beat me to it. I was gonna put that link up. I just fixed mine today using that page. A little different on my first gen but you wont have that problem.

I remember there being fuses for your high beams in the fuse box in your engine bay. Might want to check them.
