Late 80s tube bumper on 3rd Gen 4runner?

found a cheap rear bumper on craigslist wondering if it would fit or could be easily made to fit my 4runner?

From: raleigh, nc for school chapel hill, nc for home
That's not much of a bumper, but it could be made to fit. You would just have to customize it for your mounts

would it be sturdy enough for a hilift jacking point? and for recovery?

All depends on how its mounted and if its supported properly.

And I definitely would not trust that receiver mount for anything without some sort of bracing like this: /I\ if that makes any sense, and even then I wouldn't tow with it.

That is a poor excuse for a rear bumper and you are wasting your time even considering it.

$50 is overpaying by about $100

PASS.
