LC 60 Axle strength?

Hi
Does anybody know how much "power" Land Cruiser 60 axles can handle?
I am building a off road "buggy" with 5-600bhp and i am wondering if i can use axles from a Land Cruiser 60 that i have.
Any help is appreciated.

the axles might be a little narrow for a buggy. i think full widths (d60's/1tons) are the axles of choice.

The axles are around 60" right?
so i think they will fit since my "buggy" will be no wider than 50"..

It will be similar to this one.

Step up to one ton axles now instead of later. If you're going ot be doing formula offroad you'll want the stronger housings anyway.
