cool. what axle are you using? rebuild it and put the armor on it now while it is off the truck.

and since you are doing a T-G kit you might find this info helpful...
Front Spring Hanger Placement: (when using longer than stock springs like Trail Gears)

I have all of these lifts down to a science at this point.
3" springs: 1/4" in back of the frame. Push the frame tube jig all the way forward in the body mount.
4" Springs 1/2" in front. Center the frame tube jib in the body mount
5" springs 3/4" in front. Center the frame tube jib in the body mount

I just installed the TG kit on my truck. I was extremely happy with the kit.
What are you doing for the rear? One other thing to remember, you will have to make your a new driveshaft.

There are some pictures here https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f152/rage-s-sas-169024/

If you have questions let me know. The install is still kinda fresh in the brain..lol..

Wow, a local Havasu Toyota guy.

Too bad you're ditching the IFS club. Nice looking truck. I don't think I've seen it around before.

Have you been to that new junkyard in Bullhead? "All good junkyard" I think it's called? I'm wondering what kind of Toyota's they have laying around in there.

Ah, I was just working in Mohave Valley today, down Boundary Cone Road. I don't think I was too far away from that yard. I don't see any older Toyota's in the pictures though.

Nice I got my 85 4 runner axle for $200 with the springs.
However urs looks a little less rusty.
Nice job though.

Are you gonna do the creeper ball gussets too?

I mounted my front hanger flush with the frame. Shackle angle is good, and springs are still settling. I will be getting my front drive shaft this week, so I will have some pictures up by next weekend.

I bought these also and I installed the steering stops tabs and the lower gussets in. I really saw no need to install the uppers. I am not a hardcore rocks crawler and don't think that I will be bashing my front tires up onto obstacles. But good luck with the install and the hardest part is getting the frame cut for the shackles. Just remember to measure twice and cut once...lol... well maybe just measure about 100 times and cut or weld once...lol.. good luck again!!!!
