I'm looking for a daily driver. I've found a 96 Tacoma regular cab, bucket seats, 4x4, power windows, good condition, 150k miles. It's a 4cyl 5 speed. Nearly all Toyota's I've looked at were priced well over blue book value. The guy's asking $2500. To me, that seems way too low. Any thoughts? I'm just afraid of it being a scam or an accident waiting to happy. Thanks for any input.

 

Other than checking for frame rust, body rust, mechanical condition get the VIN and run a Carfax report. Items like accident indicators, flood damage, salvage title, etc. would seriously lower the value of the truck. Make sure the title is the original and in the sellers name. If it checks out it sounds like a deal.
